5. Posology and Administration

In echinoccocosis it should be administered 500 mg 2 times/daily in the first 3 days, then in the same dose 3 times/daily in the following 3 days. Later on it is administered in a dose of 25-30 mg/kg/daily in 3-4 intakes.
It is recommended to treat all the family members simultaneously.

6. Counterindications

Manifested disorders of liver functions; pregnancy, lactation, childhood (under 2 years of age); hypersensitivity to Mebendazole.
